Cationic starches

Cationic starches

Cationic starch is made by chemically modifying native starch. Modification is carried out on a special production line using several chemical substances. Cationic starches are divided according to the degree of substitution (DS), which corresponds to the number of bounded cationic “endings” in the starch chains.

We produce cationic starches in the range of DS: 0.01 – 0.08. Cationic starch is widely used in the paper mill industry and in adhesive production. If you are interested in these products, please contact Solam – cationic starch sellers to the paper mill industry. www.solam.com
